Christmas came early to Yaletown on Saturday November 22, 2014, for the 3rd annual free outdoor Christmas festival – CandyTown!
From 12:00pm to 7:00pm Mainland Street was transformed to a winter wonderland full of twikling lights and candy canes decorations adorning lamp poles and more delivering a fun, memorable day for kids of all ages; from families with children to adults who want to experience the Christmas spirit.
CandyTown was a great opportunity for everyone to start their Christmas shopping buying in Yaletown with local merchants and the specialty market carrying unique gifts and holiday treats. Delicious food was featured at CandyTown from food vendors such as: Maple Sugar Shack, Half Baked Cookie Co., Damien’s Belgian Waffles, and many others.
The streets were filled with local artisans, street performers, and live music spreading the holiday spirit!
