Pumpkin Patches and Hay Rides in Metro Vancouver! Things to do

When was the last time that you remembered walking through a pumpkin-filled farm, navigate through a corn maze or even take a ride on a hayride? For the rest of October, you can have a chance to visit a local pumpkin patch with your friends and family, and enjoy all the things to do there. Also not to mention that you’ll be able to pick up a few pumpkins!

Depending where you live, or which location you prefer to go to, below are a list of pumpkin patches to visit.

 

Laity Pumpkin Patch

Located in Maple Ridge, B.C.

Maple Ridge

The Laity Pumpkin Patch has been a family run agri-tourism business for over 25 years. There are various attractions such as a corn maze, farm animals, vegetable gardens, a frontier town to visit, wooden animals, fairy tale trails, dinosaurs, pumpkin zoo, mushroom forest, pan for “gold” and a tracter-wagon ride.

 

Hours:

Monday to Friday 1:30pm to 5:00pm

Saturday/Sunday/Holidays 9:30am to 5:00pm

Pro-D Day (Fri, Oct 24th) 9:00am to 5:00pm

Admission:

$5 per person (3 yrs and older)

$20 per family (2 parents and children residing in same household)

Pumpkins:

$2 and up (based on size)

Rondriso Farms

Specialized in naturally raised beef, farm fresh vegetables. pumpkin patch and hayride tours. They also have a full assortment of already picked pumpkins, mini-pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks and hay bales available for sale at the farm stand. And don’t forget your winter veggies too, and not to mention BBQs!

Richmond Country Farms

Richmond country farm

Located in Richmond, B.C.

Guests enjoy many costumed entertainers including Polly Pumpkin, Strawberry Shortcake and Korny Corn. Music is supplied by the farm band and by many talented wagon entertainers. Pumpkin pickers ride hay wagons past the duck ponds and waterfalls to the fields. Fruits and vegetables are also grown, specializing in corn and pumpkins, selling them at our farm gate market at 12900 Steveston Highway.
