Vancouver Zombie Walk 2014 (+40 Photo Gallery)
This weekend was a very busy one in metro Vancouver. With many of the remaining tourist still around and the most locals enjoying the last few days of summer streets were packed as people engaged in all sort of activities like the Vancouver Latin American film festival.
Saturday was no exception as the Vancouver Zombie Walk 2014 took place. While it was moved out of its original planned date (traditionally) during high season to prevent huge crowds from forming. It was still a massive success.
The Zombie Walk 2014 took place at the Vancouver Art Gallery from 3 pm until 5pm This Saturday. It gathered little less than two thousand actively participating zombies. While locals were pretty aware and engaged in the event it was fun to observe the initial reactions of clueless tourist to the Zombie Walk 2014. The event was hosted at the iconic Vancouver Art Gallery at Hornby Street.
Our photographer JE Olivas said some of the zombies were better than those in World War Z and he claims Zombie women were cuter than one would think. We’ll let you judge that as you browse through our official gallery of the Zombie Walk 2014 :
